RBI Grade B Officers Job Profile

As a RBI Grade B Officer you will be responsible to manage certain Government & Central Bank accounts. Typically, a RBI Officers undergoes a 2 year probation period or training.

Grade B Officers In-hand Salary

Total in-hand salary of a RBI Grade B Officer on joining at a metro city will be around Rs.70000.

Eligibility for Grade B Officers

Basic educational qualification for Grade ‘B’ Officers (DR General) is Graduation degree (BA, BCom, BSc, B.Tech or equivalent) with minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/PWD) as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations.

Age Limit for RBI Grade B Officers

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Age Relaxation (Age Relaxation permissible beyond the Upper age limit):
SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years

Pattern of RBI Grade B Officers

Selection for the aforementioned posts will be done through ON-LINE examinations in Phase – I and Phase – II and interview.

Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I.

Interview:
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Interview will be of 50 marks.
