Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) is a business school in India, located in Bhubaneswar, the capital of the eastern Indian state of Odisha. The school is on a 20-acre campus in Bhubaneswar’s institutional area, with classrooms, hostels, studio apartments, gym, a sports club and a multi-purpose auditorium. It is managed by a board of governors, consisting of representatives of the governments of India and Odisha, the Jesuit Society, industrialists and educationists. The school was founded in 1987 under a social contract between the Government of Odisha and the Odisha Jesuit Society.

Courses, Eligibility and Admission Procedure

1. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) – 120 Saets

2. PGDM-Human Resource Management – 120 Seats

3. Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management – 60 Seats

Course Duration: The two-year programme is designed to prepare competent persons for careers in management in the corporate sector and in public systems.

Eligibility

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA).

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on CAT/ XAT/GMAT Score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
Last/Current Year Cut-offs: CAT – 90 Percentile/ XAT – 95 Percentile

4. PGDM-Part Time

Course Duration: 3 Years, Part Time, Post Graduate Diploma

Eligibility

A three-year Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in any discipline from a recognised University
At least three years of experience in executive capacity in an organisation of repute in the public, private or non-governmental sector. Self-employed persons with a minimum of five years experience after obtaining a qualifying degree can also be considered.
Age limit: Completed 24 years

Selection Procedure

The eligible candidates will be called for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview session in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Screening for interview will be based on the candidate’s past academic performance and relevant work experience.
Fees: INR 9 Lakh
