Courses and Admission Process

1. Master of Law, LL.M

  • Course Detail: The College offers Master of Law. It is two years duration full time course.
  • Course Affiliation: University of Calcutta
  • Admission Criteria: The candidate must have a bachelor degree of L.L.B.(H) / B.A.L.L.B. and admission is based on merit.
  • Total Seats: 36

2. Doctor of Philosophy (Law)

  • Course Detail: The College offers PhD in Law programme. It is two years duration full time course.
  • Course Affiliation: University of Calcutta
  • Admission Criteria: Candidate must have a masters degree in Law from a recognised University. Admission is based on merit.

3. Bachelor of Law (L.L.B)

  • Course Detail: The college offers LL.B course. It is five years duration full time course.
  • Course Affiliation: University of Calcutta
  • Admission Criteria: The candidates should have passed H.S. or equivalent from a recognised Board/ Council/ University with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate or appeared at the same in the current year are eligible to apply.
  • Admission is on Entrance Exam.
  • Total Seats: 200

4. Bachelor of Law (Honours)

  • Course Detail: The college offers Bachelor of Law (Honours). It is three years full time course.
  • Course Affiliation: University of Calcutta
  • Admission Criteria: The candidates should have passed L.L.B. (Part-I) and H.S. or equivalent from a recognised Board/ Council/ University. Admission is based on merit.
  • Total Seats: 50
